Shoulder Retractor
Used for extending the patient's shoulders down and out of the treatment field for head and neck technique. For those patients who need the extra sturdiness, this right angle polycarbonate frame is the perfect item. Straps with Velcro® fasteners are placed around patient's wrists, then a nylon rope keeps tension on the shoulders with a self-locking bracket. A tension spring in the rope line keeps the tension on the shoulders without "over strain." Releasing the tension is done by simply pulling ropes laterally away from the patient.

Arm and Shoulder Extension Strap

Table Rail Safety Strap
VIP's safety straps help to immobilize the patient during radiation treatment and prevent falling from the table. The straps are constructed of soft, yet strong blue velvet cloth material which is completely washable.The straps come in a two piece set. Each piece is 6" wide and 30" long. Slip the proper end of each piece through each side rail and fasten with the Velcro closures. Position each strap as illustrated. To prevent the straps from falling completely to the floor while not in use, fasten each strap to itself as illustrated.
This enables you to leave the straps attached to the side rails at all times. To secure the patient in position, simply pull the strap with Velcro loop side facing up first and
then the hook side strap second. Easy, fast and comfortable for all.
