MANUFACTURING DATA:

• Precision machined anodized aluminum.
• Components hand tapped, counter bored and assembled with steel screws for strength, stability and durability. Unlike rivets used in some products - steel screws may be re-tightened.
• Easy-to-read screen printed scale is protected from wear by a recessed sliding scale indicator.
• Knurled thumbscrew positioner firmly grips the smooth operating 

APPLICATION FEATURES:

• Can be utilized for table top distances to determine central-axis and off-axis measurement . . . wide base guarantees perpendicularity.
• Reversing caliper orientation assists in determining separations such as laterals, obliques and off-table measurements.
• Scale color coding on both sides of Standard Body Calipers and Extended Body Calipers eliminates confusion with scale orientation.
• Scale resolution defined into one millimeter increments.
• Eliminates dosage variations of up to 4 percent.
• Pointer(s) easily reach around extended body contours.

This lightweight Body Caliper with flat blade has one scale on a non-removable slider that prevents errors caused by reading the wrong scale on a dual scale caliper. The slider can be locked at any position. The rigid leg that slips under the patient is 1/8" thick and 11" long.
